Throughout September 22-24, the U.S. Small Business Administration and cosponsors will be hosting all virtual events in the continuing effort to rebound and grow small businesses throughout the tumultuous economic year of 2020. Activities include educational panels for business development and recovery as well as highlights of America’s outstanding entrepreneurs.
The National Association of State Procurement Officials welcomed the Virginia Association of Government Purchasing as its first affiliate division partner. This new affiliate division program aims to engage in strategic outreach to other public procurement organizations.
Together the two organizations will work to expand the reach of its resources and provide additional courses, training, publications, and webinars that cover the topics of public procurement and leadership with innovative procurement strategies.
The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International in a partnership with Brightline Strategies and Yardi has announced to field nationwide commercial estate COVID-19 impact studies. This research program is intended to assess the impacts towards tenant decision-maker sentiments relating to COVID-19 as well as other business attitudes and perceptions affecting real estate decisions.
